Dutchess Community College is a public, 2-year institution established in the hills above Poughkeepsie, New York, with a satellite facility open in Wappingers Falls. DCC offers over 50 academic programs, which feature tuition rates lower than any other college or university in the state. Local students who have graduated high school in the top 10% of their class can receive DCC’s Conklin Scholarship, which includes tuition coverage for two full years. Approximately one-third of all college-bound students graduating from high school in the college’s regional area choose to attend DCC.
