Overview

Dakota County Technical College is a 2-year technical and vocational school in the Twin Cities metro area. DCTC is home to nine academic departments offering degrees and certificates. The college’s Brewing and Beer Steward Technology program provides an overview of the beer brewing process as well as the business end of the beverage industry and is open to all students over the age of 21. As a school committed to diversity, DCTC features several resources for its LGBTQ+ population including the Sexuality & Gender Acceptance Association, gender neutral restrooms, and a preferred name request form on the college website.
