This school is of course, a community college. Unlike Universities, it offers everyone a chance to interact closer with a professor of counselor. The rate of people whom have successfully passed their classes is pretty high at Chemeketa. It is a good place to start out.

I've been at Chemeketa for one term now and I absolutely love it here. The teachers are always there to help you when you need it, there are many resources you can use if you don't exactly know where to turn to.
Kimberly from Independence, OR
I am going for my Early Childhood program and love every class that I have to take. The Instructors are GREAT!
Ashley from Amity, OR
When you hear somebody tell you that they are going to community college, we all say to ourselves, hm, should just go to university. But in my time at chemeketa, I feel like despite the community college stigma, I am learning a lot.
Michael from Salem, OR
I just finished up my first year here at Chemeketa and it was great! Because CCC gives opportunities to everyone and anyone, I was able to go from being a homeschooler, shy and timid out in the world, to a college student who is learning ASL, science, art, theater, and all of it goes to the Associates of the Arts Transfer Degree. I'm so glad I started out at Chemeketa! The expense isn't too bad and I'm getting a great education for it!
