Room and Board The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
  • (amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
  • + amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
  • + amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. For some institutions the # of students by living arrangement will be known, but dollar amounts will not be known. In this case the # of students with no corresponding dollar amount will be excluded from the denominator.

Arizona Western is local and convent for what you are looking for in a community college. Everyone at AWC is wonderful with helping you with what you need for school, transferring to another school and has a great tutoring program. I rated Arizona Western College with four star,
Carmalita from Yuma, AZ
AWC is a good community college for a variety of reasons, to include several good associate degrees and its close association with NAU. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate AWC as an 8, with its only major failing being a shortfall of science teachers. The campus is beautiful and well organized, and the school staff is very helpful in trying to support the students.
Ruby from Yuma, AZ
Arizona Western College is one of the highest Community Colleges, known if Yuma Arizona.
Veronica from Yuma, AZ
This is a small community college but with great atmosphere. There is only about 4000 students so there is not much traffic. Classes are not technically hard, but require some studying.
David from Yuma, AZ
AWC is a small college and for that instructors have the time to help you with any questions you may have.
