Overview

The University of West Los Angeles is a for-profit institution with two campuses in the LA neighborhoods of Inglewood and Chatsworth. UWLA is comprised of two schools, the School of Law and the School of Business. Admission is based on a student’s professional background and life circumstances in addition to standardized test scores. For its student body, UWLA draws from a diverse populace including recent immigrants and first-generation Americans. Outside of the classroom, law students at UWLA provides assistance to the community by volunteering as jury proctors and mentors with the area Teen Court.
