Overview
Snead State Community College is the oldest 2-year institution in Alabama to award associate degrees. SSCC offers courses in eight academic divisions as well as a career technical department. In addition, SSCC provides classes for students who wish to become FAA-certified aviation maintenance technicians through its recent acquisition of the nearby aviation college.
