Overview

With campus on the Lake Traverse Reservation, Sisseton Wahpeton College is a tribal college in northeastern South Dakota serving the Sisseton and Wahpeton Native American Bands. SWC offers 11 associate degrees and five certificate-granting programs. As an institution dedicated to tribal education, SWC features Dakota Studies and Dakota Language Teaching programs. For athletically inclined students, SWC fields men’s and women’s basketball and rodeo teams.
