Overview
Pasco-Hernando State College is a public institution consisting of five campuses located in Florida’s Pasco and Hernando counties. The college exhibits a lively student body, hosting over 500 student events every year that range from snack gatherings to college-wide students vs. faculty flag football games. Eleventh and twelfth graders residing in either county have the option to partake in PHSC’s Collegiate High School, which grants them the ability to simultaneously earn a high school diploma and complete 30 credit hours or more towards an associate degree. For students aiming to teach, the college offers the Educator Preparation Institute as an online program to gain teacher certification in Florida over the course of two semesters.
