Overview
Located in the Cambridge, Massachusetts neighborhood of Harvard Square, the Longy School of Music of Bard College is a conservatory of the musical arts. Longy is home to 4-year Undergraduate Diploma programs in seven musical concentrations such as Composition and Vocal Studies and the school partners with Emerson College to offer an opportunity to pursue a Bachelor of Music degree. Additionally, Longy requires all students to participate in community service through its Teaching Artist program. Music students with exceptional potential are invited to study for the Artist Diploma, the school’s highest degree which also offers full tuition remission.
