Room and Board The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
(amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
+ amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
+ amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. For some institutions the # of students by living arrangement will be known, but dollar amounts will not be known. It has a very great atmosphere with a lot of great people you can relax with or study with; at Lafayette there are a lot of intelligent people who are completely willing to help. In addition to the people, the professors are truly amazing because they take the time to get to know you personally and will try their best to help you, and they will even offer research since Lafayette has the resources of a large university in a much smaller, friendlier environment. Not only does Lafayette have a beautiful campus, everything is within ten minute walking distance meaning your friends are never far away.

Lafayette college is a great education. They have so many tools to prepare you for life after college, and they work hard to make sure you have a job before you leave. Over all it's alright, just a bit socially pretentious.

Extremely strong alumni relations with endless opportunities. Greek life and Athletics dominate social life. Extremely easy to be involved in multiple clubs and activities on campus.
