Overview

John Wood Community College is a 2-year college with a main campus and three satellite locations in western Illinois. JWCC offers degrees in 43 fields of study and 28 certificate-granting programs. As a rural institution, JWCC’s programs in Agriculture and Animal Science utilize the University of Illinois student farm to supplement classroom instruction. Outside of academia, the college fields seven sports teams and hosts intramural leagues in kickball, basketball, volleyball, and flag football.

You learn quite a bit. The professors are super nice and willing to help you no matter what. The professors really know what they are teaching and are passionate about their subjects. This really helps when they are helping you and teaching since they put all they have into their work.
