A quick drive from both the Pennsylvania and West Virginia borders, Garrett College is a 2-year community college in McHenry, Maryland, at the edge of scenic Deep Creek Lake. In addition to its regular slate of more than 30 areas of study, Garrett also offers degree programs in Adventure Sports Management and Natural Resources & Wildlife Technology using its naturally secluded location surrounded by forests and whitewater rivers. Garrett also offers students the opportunity to study abroad in countries such as Costa Rica and France thanks to a partnership with Education First College Study Tours.
