Overview
Des Moines Area Community College is Iowa’s largest and most diverse 2-year community college. In addition to the numerous academic programs DMACC offers on its various campuses, distance learning students can also earn four different degrees primarily online. With the main campus located in the northern suburb of Ankeny and five others in the surrounding area, DMACC partners with ten different 4-year universities throughout the state, easing the transfer process.
