Overview
Capital Community College is a 2-year institution in Hartford, the only one in Connecticut’s capital city. With over 45 countries represented in its student body, CCC is home to the Center for Language and Culture, which hosts diverse events as well as classes on world language. CCC is also one of five colleges in New England named a Hispanic-Service Institution. The campus is housed in a renovated historic building in downtown Hartford with an unusual sculpture at the center of its five story atrium. “Latitude” was commissioned by the state of Connecticut and functions as a kinetic timepiece and unconventional map.
