Additional Costs
Room and Board The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
  • (amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
  • + amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
  • + amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. For some institutions the # of students by living arrangement will be known, but dollar amounts will not be known. In the small classes at Concordia every student receives the specialized attention they require. The professors truly care about each of their students. I am in the education program and each of the professors I have for these courses is personally invested in giving this generation's educators the very best training. All of them are either teachers currently or have taught for many many years and have a lot of useful tidbits and tips for us students about what really happens in the classroom.
Kassandra from Flint, MI
The school is right outside the heart of the cultural city of Ann Arbor. Being a college town, there is an abundance of opportunities for saving money at local stores and entertainment places. The school is small and has an extremely safe environment.
Ashley from Monroe, MI

Antonio- Junior Transfer Student
Concordia is a small school with many religious activities to keep the students involved. The campus also keeps students involved through organizations relevant to the students' major. The Student population becomes so closely knit due to the small population size that Concordia is much like the home to a large family.
