Overview

Founded in 1878, Champlain College is a small, private college overlooking Lake Champlain in charming Burlington, Vermont. Its innovative, career-focused approach to education is nationally recognized for shaping graduates who are ready for work, ready for life, and ready to make a difference.

Room and Board The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
  • (amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
  • + amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
  • + amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. Champlain has a lot of great teachers that don't hesitate to take their personal time to make you the best you can be. Whenever people said that I'd always think they were being paid but honestly it's true. It's only been one year but I've improved a lot since I came here.
Amber from Warren, RI

I'm learning things that actually apply to ME and the things I want to do when I graduate. The professors are actually interested in teaching you the skills you'll need to get a job once you're in the real world.
Alexander from Wells, ME
The faculty at Champlain embodies an innovative and culturally rich mind focused on social and global welfare. The student body represents the hope for the future that all people share. The location of Burlington offers the greatest diversity you will ever experience.
Melissa from South Chesterfield, VA
Good small school, for anyone who loves a class not more than 24 students. Great reputation and still growing, and above all good school especially for business majors. I would recommend anyone to come and check out Champlain College in VT.

Despite living 1,000 miles I way, I feel that Champlain is the best option for me as a prospective Game Design student. This is highlighted by their focus on your major and the studying abroad possibilities in Montreal. Also, after visiting, I truly like the feel of the campus.
Jacob from Wood River, IL
