Overview

Bluefield State College is a public, historically black college established in the state of West Virginia. The college also maintains a satellite campus in Beckley, which serves students in the county of Raleigh and features programs in Nursing, Radiology, and Criminal Justice. Students attending the main campus have the opportunity to enroll in over 40 career-oriented majors and minor programs, which result in either associate or bachelor-level degrees. Many courses at Bluefield are available to take online and are complemented with live events and content delivered via the internet, TV, CDs, and DVDs.
