Overview

Named for a nearby river and mountain range, the College of the Ouachitas is a 2-year community college in central Arkansas. COTO is home to four departments granting associate degrees in various fields of study as well as 18 certificate programs and an honors college. For students looking to complete a bachelor’s degree, COTO participates in the Arkansas Course Transfer System enabling the smooth transfer of applicable credits to all Arkansas public colleges and universities.
