Overview

Allen College is a school of healthcare and nursing in northern Iowa affiliated with UnityPoint Health. In addition to its bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in Nursing, Allen also confers bachelor’s degrees in Health Science, associate degrees in Radiography, and two doctorates. The Allen College campus is located within Allen Memorial Hospital and classes utilize the hospital setting for clinical study. Students are encouraged to assist their community beyond the classroom during Allen College Service Days which are scheduled during every semester.

The instructors are great and the ratio of students to teacher gives me plenty of individual instruction time. The campus is clean and the buildings and facilities are up to date. The educational program is comperable to other schools with higher tuition.
