Overview
Established in 1969, Washington County Community College is a public, 2-year institution located on a 400-acre campus alongside the St. Croix River in Calais, Maine. WCCC offers certificates, diplomas, and associate degrees in 20 career-oriented fields of study as well as a liberal studies program for students aiming to transfer to a 4-year institution. Courses at WCCC take advantage of the college’s state-of-the-art classrooms, labs, and its close proximity to the Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge to provide a variety of experiential learning opportunities. WCCC also maintains articulation agreements with several other colleges and universities including UMM and NECB.
