Overview
Originally founded as a regional college, the University of Puerto Rico Arecibo is a public university in northern Puerto Rico. UPRA offers bachelor’s degrees in 14 academic fields of study. In addition to classroom space, the UPRA campus includes numerous science and engineering laboratories and computer labs. For students interested in media and performing arts, UPRA is home to radio and TV studios as well as a 500-seat theater.
