Overview

Southern University Shreveport Louisiana is a 2-year commuter campus of Southern University and an institution designated an Historically Black College. SULA is home to six academic departments offering associate degrees as well as a Louisiana Transfer Degree program that guarantees admission to any 4-year public university in state. In addition, SULA’s campus features cultural sites such as the Southern University Museum of Art at Shreveport which exhibits its collection of African and African American artwork for the public.
