In which ways do you feel you are learning and growing?

Since starting at SNHU, I've learned how to push myself outside of my comfort zone. This growth has also given me the opportunity to learn how to communicate with people online, effectively manage a to-do list and calendar, and set goals that will lead to personal development.

What tips can you share with prospective students?

I recommend that prospective SNHU students utilize the academic advising resources offered. Advisors can assist with career paths, degree requirements, and choosing courses. It's also beneficial to engage actively with instructors and support staff.

In what ways do you feel this college challenges students academically?

The significant proportion of SNHU students who are working professionals or have other commitments, such as family, education, military, or civilian jobs, is advantageous. SNHU's flexible course scheduling, supportive environment, and helpful faculty allow students to effectively manage their time. Additionally, as a global institution, SNHU's extensive reach benefits students around the world by broadening their perspectives through interactions with diverse classmates and staff members.

I give Southern New Hampshire University an excellent rating, five stars out of five stars. I feel at home here and have little financial, academic, or social worries. Southern New Hampshire University does an outstanding job at building communities and guiding go-getters to achieve their goals.
Tips for prospective students
One of my tips is to visit your professors during their office hours and to utilize all facilities and resources once you are a college student. It is important to apply for scholarships ahead of time too. Another thing to look into is if you have work study on your award letter and to apply for positions early online.
Academic Rigor
Academics are so important here that there is walk-in hours for tutoring, library reference help, and free one-on-one tutoring if you need it. The honors program is great for students who like a challenge!
Dorm Life
The cleanliness is outstanding. The Wellness housing has been a blessing by bringing me a safe, drug and alcohol free, and quiet living space where I feel comfortable.
Food and Dining
The food here is amazing and there is a great variety! There is options for everyone, even if you have allergies, like a gluten-free allergy. The food is fresh and hot as it is made as you order it.
What to do for fun
Personally I play bingo, attend campus events, do community service work, go to free movies, spend time with a few clubs, play soccer just for fun, hang out at the pub (fooseball, pool, a piano, and free food!), watch sports games, and do zumba!
Bang for the buck
SNHU is worth the cost. I highly value my education here.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus
It is a little unusual that we have an art gallery on campus but it is really cool! We had a ceremony as incoming freshmen which involved bagpipes, but it was interesting.
Great for these types of students
SNHU is great for go-getters-people who have goals and want help achieving them. It is great for students who like small, close knit communities and for those who like to feel important and known on a more individual level.
Clubs and Activities
If you like sports, there is clubs for that. If you want to meet people in your major, there are clubs for a lot of majors. If have a passion to help others and volunteer, there is a place for you too; you know it is good when you can start your own club to pursue an interest or goal you have.
Campus Safety
When I lost my keys, Public Safety was here for me. They can walk you home if is late at night and you are afraid. There are also emergency phones and buttons in a few common places on campus in case of emergencies.

Southern New Hampshire is amazing. Their counselors, financial office and teachers are all so helpful and fast in responding to students. I would highly recommend SNHU.
Tips for prospective students
I would recommend you talk with a counselor (even before you apply). The counselors are really helpful in guiding you or giving you the information you are seeking. If they do not know an answer to a question, they will find the answer and let you know.
Academic Rigor
They set deadlines at SNHU for when assignments need to be completed by. They are reasonable goals. You need to work hard for the classes you take, though.
Bang for the buck
They are reasonably priced for a college. All of my credits transferred from my community college classes. I was happy that they work so well with transferring credits from other schools
