Overview

With a main campus along the shores of Mount Hope Bay, Roger Williams University School of Law is the only law school in Rhode Island. RWU Law offers a 3-year JD curriculum and a Master of Studies in Law program featuring 16 legal concentrations. As part of the JD program clinical experience, RWU Law’s semester-in-practice clinical externship provides a full semester of credit for on-location work at legal firms across New England, New York, and Washington DC. Utilizing its setting adjacent to the Atlantic Ocean, RWU Law operates the Marine Affairs Institute to train students in ocean and coastal law.
