Overview
Renton Technical College is a 2-year career and technical institution in western Washington state. Renton Tech is home to seven areas of study offering more than 60 degree and certificate programs. The college’s Transportation Technology department features Washington’s only Ford ASSET program which trains future automotive technicians specifically to work on Ford cars and products. In addition, Renton Tech supports its LGBTQ+ student community through the Technical Orientation Club and all-gender bathrooms throughout campus.

This school has a lot of career-related programs, starting from one-quarter long to 2+ year. The programs vary, some are allied health programs, such as Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, CNA, Massage Therapist, and so on. Some other programs include Refrigeration Technology, Professional Baking, Land Surveying, and a lot more. Those programs are mostly Monday-Friday 8 am until 2:30. You will be focused on getting the skills necessary for your chosen career. This school offers regular classes as well, such as Math, Psychology, Biology and others.
