Overview

Modeled after Lithuanian yeshivas, Ohr Hameir Theological Seminary is an Orthodox Jewish yeshiva in southeastern upstate New York dedicated to developing a “Torah personality” in all students. Ohr Hameir offers a First Talmudic Degree program consisting of lectures and Beis Medrash study and all students are paired with a partner for study hall activities. The Ohr Hameir library contains over 4000 studies of Talmudic and Aggadic literature. The yeshiva campus includes baseball and basketball fields as well as a hiking trail.
