Overview

Northwest Mississippi Community College is a public, two-year institution established in the city of Senatobia. Northwest serves a population of over 7,000 students, and offers academic pathways to each of the public, four-year institutions within the state, as well as over 40 career and technical programs, some of which can be completed in nine months. Eligible students can enroll in the Mississippi Integrated Basic Education and Skills Training program, which allows students to earn college credit alongside a high school equivalency diploma, then either move on to further education or exit to employment in specific roles relevant to the education they acquired in the program, such as Production Assistants, and Nursing Assistants
