The courses and subjects are tough but the key to understanding the lessons is to really pay attention and of course, take notes. The environment and social life is not that bad compare to what others say. Overall, I do recommend it for those who aspire to work in the technology and design world!

Be up to date with everything around the campus! It's fun once you actually participate!

Again, the classes are tough. If I were to turn back, I would enhance my time management skills.
Describe the dorm life at your college.
I think it depends on what building and on what floor you live in. During my first year, I lived in the architecture floor with my fellow architecture majors. Dorm life became fun because we all sort of have the same schedule and same bed time so we hang out at our lounges all the time!
Describe the food and dining at your college.
It has its days! There are a lot of fun themes though! I loved Hawaiian lunch! All the helpers wend all out with decorations and costumes! They make the food taste 10000x better!
What’s there to do for fun at your college?
NYC is 15 minutes away; Prudential and NJPAC is right around the corner; Rutgers-Newark and Essex County College is literally next to us; The Ironbound which has tons of good Portuguese restaurant!

There are tons of clubs to join and activities to participate such as the Highlander Games!

If you're interested in being part of the Greek Life, we have plenty of recognized Fraternity and Sorority! We also have a co-ed community service Fraternity and National Honor Fraternity.
How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?
Every email is connected to the campus public safety so if something goes on, we automatically receive information about it. There are also 24-hr police on duty.
