Read What Students Are SayingThis school is great-the staff, the students, and the activities! You have a huge opportunity to meet new people, and the teachers are really approachable. It's a very comfortable environment. I'm glad i made the decision to start my college career at a Community campus.
Ashley from Waipahu, HI
I honestly believe that Leeward Community College in Waianae (LCCW) is a terrific school. At LCCW everyone is treated as if we are all family. And as for the professors they are all the bomb.
Carolyn from Waianae, HI
The instructors at Leeward Community College have terrific skills in teaching. They will spend extra time with their students and share some of their strategies to succeed. Also, the tutors help are a blessing to have.
Loreen from Ewa Beach, HI
The instructors are there to help you learn the material and help you pass your course. The classes are structured well.
Kaelyn from Mililani, HI
Due to small-sized classes, there is more interaction with the teachers and the rest of the students in the class as compared to a large-sized class. Being taught in such an environment allows you to really get the material down. Furthermore, most teachers are nice and open, and are readily available to help in any way they can.
Harley from Mililani, HI
The classes are very detailed and interesting to follow. The work may be tough, but the endurance and effort they require are sure to give you an understanding of what you're learning!
