Room and Board The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
  • (amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
  • + amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
  • + amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. Every class I am taking is applicable to my major. It seems like every class helps me understand my others better.
Dylan from Port Arthur, TX
When I enrolled in my commercial music program, I didn't even know the difference between a dynamic and condenser mic. Now, I am recording bands and mixing out songs to be released to the public. Thanks to Lamar in Port Arthur, I am getting closer to becoming a master of my trade. We are provided with hands on learning as well as homework assignments and reading. They hit all angles and it works!!
