Overview
Lamar Institute of Technology is a 2-year technical college and part of the Texas State University system. LIT offers 37 associate degrees and 30 certificate programs in fields such as Accounting Technology and Domestic Nuclear Detection. The LIT Learning Lab provides free tutoring service for all students as well as computer and video tutorials and the Special Populations Office features additional services for students who are single parents or economically disadvantaged.
