Overview

Kent State University at Stark is the largest regional campus in the Kent State system and the only public university in Stark County, Ohio. Kent State Stark offers degrees in over 25 subjects as well as the opportunity to begin courses in more than 282 Kent State majors before transferring to another campus. Outside of the classroom, students are encouraged to participate in a number of environmental sustainability initiatives and the Stark campus has been named a Tree Campus USA by the National Arbor Day Foundation. Its most notable feature is The Pond, a federally designated wetlands area.
