Overview

Wheaton College is an explicitly Christian, academically rigorous, liberal arts college and graduate school located just 25 miles west of Chicago. Established in 1860 by abolitionists, Wheaton is guided by its original mission to provide excellence in Christian higher education, and offers more than 50 academic programs in various fields of study. With twin traditions of quality academics and deep faith along with a faculty composed of Christian thought leaders, Wheaton is the standard-bearer for world-class undergraduate and graduate Christian education. Over a century and a half after our founding, we champion the true essence of the Christian Liberal Arts educational experience. Our enduring model makes space to wrestle with timeless challenges and to pursue biblically informed, thoughtful wisdom.

$45,546
Out-of-State Tuition Out-of-state tuition is the tuition charged by institutions to those students who do not meet the state’s or institution’s residency requirements. Additional Costs
Room and Board The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
  • (amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
  • + amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
  • + amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. For some institutions the # of students by living arrangement will be known, but dollar amounts will not be known. In this case the # of students with no corresponding dollar amount will be excluded from the denominator.
