Vermont College of Fine Arts
Overview
From its hilltop campus overlooking Vermont’s capital city of Montpelier, the Vermont College of Fine Arts is the only graduate school in America exclusively focusing on arts education. VCFA’s master’s degrees encompass a wide array of artistic pursuits including Film, Graphic Design, Visual Art, Writing, and Music Composition and all academic programs are self-designed in collaboration with the college’s faculty. While most programs are low residency, the MFA in Writing & Publishing requires students to live on campus for two years. Throughout the year, students and faculty collaborate to produce the college’s official podcast entitled Art More Than Ever.
