The 160-acre main campus offers more than 136 subjects through 9 faculties, schools, and colleges, many of which can also be earned online or at Waikato’s second campus in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty. The Waikato Management School is Triple Crown accredited, by EQUIS, AMBA (Association of MBAs), as well as AACSB, and has earned global acknowledgement for its curriculum, which sends more than 300 management students on business internships and industry placements through work-integrated degree programs. The university also maintains two research centers, for sports science and coastal marine studies. The Hamilton campus has a variety of amenities, including an on-campus shopping complex that features a bank, bookstore, travel company, and pharmacy, for students to utilize all while living in a country routinely ranked as one of the safest in the world for the past decade.

Additional Costs
Room and Board The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
  • (amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
  • + amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
  • + amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. For some institutions the # of students by living arrangement will be known, but dollar amounts will not be known. In this case the # of students with no corresponding dollar amount will be excluded from the denominator.
