Overview
As the largest Roman Catholic seminary in the United States, the University of St. Mary of the Lake is a graduate school in the Chicagoland area dedicated to training students for the priesthood. St. Mary of the Lake confers master’s degrees in Divinity and doctorates in Ministry. As a Catholic institution, St. Mary of the Lake holds daily mass in St. John Paul II Chapel. For recreationally-minded students, the university campus is home to several athletic facilities including a bowling alley, golf course, and swimming pool.
