University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School Overview

As the first and only public med school founded in Massachusetts, the University of Massachusetts Medical School is an institution of health care studies in Worcester. UMass Medical School offers an MD and MD/PhD program through its School of Medicine and is also home to Graduate Schools of Biomedical Sciences, Nursing, and Medical Education. To supplement classroom instruction, the medical school partners with UMass Memorial Healthcare to provide clinical experience. Throughout the year, UMass Medical School holds several campus-wide ceremonies such as the Educational Recognition Awards and Match Day.
