Thomas M. Cooley Law School is a private law school affiliated with Western Michigan University and its main branch is located in the capital city of Lansing. WMU-Cooley offers classes in Ethics, Service, and Professional programs in addition to their regular law coursework in an effort to enroll students in classes that force them to articulate their personal belief systems. Rather than just learning the letter of the law, WMU-Cooley wants students to understand how their professional work impacts society as a whole.
