Review of The University of Findlay

from Wauseon, OH

Do you feel you’re learning a lot?

The classes are really small for the most part. I am a Pre-vet student, it's a popular major here so the classes get filled up quickly and are really full. They almost always open up another class to choose. The professors care about the students and usually have one-on-one sessions to help the students out to make sure they're getting the most out of their classes. The professors are passionate about their subjects and really know what they are talking about.

Do you enjoy the experience at your school?

There are TONS of clubs to be apart of and there is always something to do on campus. There are intramural sports you and friends can be apart of...there's broom hockey, soccer, football, volleyball, and a bunch more I can't think of right now.

Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?

Tuition is expensive but if you want the best education....you got to be willing to pay.

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

Study hard in high school and do the ACTs and/or SATs. Make sure you are ready to be in college. Check into the size of school you want. Findlay is a small private school.

Which types of students will excel at your college?

Equestrian and Pre-vet majors are very strong programs. Students looking into a pharmacy program as well.
