There is so much to learn while attending Temple. The classes are some of the most interesting and informative classes I have ever taken. I've taken classes ranging from human sexuality to the art of acting right back to Psychology as a social science. You also learn a lot outside the classroom living in the dorms and experiencing Philadelphia.
Do you enjoy the experience at your school?
From my perspective, everything about Temple is worth while. Everyday is a new learning experience and you wake up not knowing what to expect here. They have welcome week which includes many activities to help incoming freshman transition to college, Homecoming, which brings alumni back and also includes concerts and athletic games, Greek week, for those interested in sororities/frats, and spring fling just to name a few that help give you a break away from classes and exams. They even once had snowboarding and ice skating in the middle of campus for FREE. The teachers, staff and students are all very friendly and helpful 24/7. Campus life is always alive and enjoyable.
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
Temple can be very expensive but it all depends on what your personal situation is. The financial aid packages are very helpful and flexible. Temple also has many on and off- campus work study jobs available for students.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
Participate in any and everything that Temple offers because i promise you it'll be worth it.
Which types of students will excel at your college?
Students who enjoy very lively and active environments and students who like having variety and choices
