I am learning a lot from both the professors and myself. Temple has numerous facilities that are available for the students to access and/or get help. Also, professors and teacher assistants are constantly striving to help students in distress. They give the students the best possible solution they can find for a specific question and answer it as thoroughly and clearly as possible. Temple staff shows they are willing to help with the constant reminders to students about available facilities for assistance in any subject or any matter that is troubling a student. It really shows that they care!
Do you enjoy the experience at your school?
I really like being on campus even after class. There are so many buildings available for access. For example, the pavilion is a wonderful place for exercise right alongside Pearson Hall. The wide range of sport fields offered is incredible! The tennis courts are right next to the track and basketball field. The fitness room a few steps from the swimming pool and the classrooms seem only a few inches away. I love being at the tech center, which always has computers available for students whether they are staying long or just have to print something out very quickly. In addition, those computers only take a few minutes to load!
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
The tuition is not as expensive as other colleges that offer the same programs and class sizes. I already have a financial instability and suffered many hardships while deciding to attend which college. Temple offers many financial programs and aid for a student to join that he or she can't resist! Temple is very helpful with all of the scholarships and grants they offer for a prospecting student. It is like they are welcoming you with open arms no matter what ethnicity you are or how much money you have.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
For students who are considering Temple as a potential college, go for it! This university has one of the most diverse campuses in the nation. The diversity is shown through one's daily presence on campus. Just being there a day will show you the incredible diversity of the student body. In addition, the facilities and classrooms are sized and distanced from each other perfectly. In classrooms, there is enough room for interaction between students without being too scrunched up. In other facilities, you never have to endure a painful expedition just to reach a classroom. The walk to a classroom is only about 5 minutes at most!
