Overview

Originally established as a school for returning Peace Corps volunteers, the SIT Graduate Institute is a grad school focusing on environmental and social justice issues. SIT offers master’s degrees and graduate certifications in seven fields of study such as Sustainable Development, Peace and Justice, and Humanitarian Assistance. Utilizing the institute’s global facilities, the SIT Climate Change and Global Sustainability program provides a chance to observe environmental innovations in Iceland and Tanzania. For working students, SIT also features a number of part-time low-residency programs that can be completed mostly online.
