Penn State Wilkes-Barre is a commonwealth campus of the Pennsylvania State University system in northeast Pennsylvania. Penn State Wilkes-Barre offers 10 bachelor’s and four associate degree-granting academic programs. Additionally, students have the option to begin classes in 275 other Penn State majors before transferring to another campus to complete their degree. To promote a more open and diverse college community, Penn State Wilkes-Barre operates an LGBTQA Student Resource Center to provide counseling and advocacy services.
