Overview

North Florida Community College is a 2-year community college serving a six county area. NFCC is home to six academic departments hosting degree and certificate-granting academic programs. The college’s Astronomy department holds classes in the school Science Center and NFCC also features an off-campus Astronomical Observatory. Between classes, students have the opportunity to explore NFCC’s Ladell Brothers Outdoor Environmental Center, a 20 acre natural habitat featuring hiking trails and picnic areas.
