Overview
New Mexico Military Institute is one of four junior military colleges in the nation. The campus is based in Roswell, NM, and is a designated area listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The school acts as a college preparatory high school and 2-year junior college, and all new cadets go through the RAT Experience (Recruit-At-Training) where older cadets teach Corps protocol. It is the only military school in the West that is state-supported.
