Overview
Montana State University-Northern is a public, 4-year institution established in Havre, with a satellite facility located in Great Falls. MSU Northern offers over 70 major and minor fields of study, awarding certificates and degrees from an associate’s to a master’s level. Through the Western Undergraduate Exchange program, MSU Northern also offers reduced tuition rates to students who reside in either one of 14 other states or the Northern Mariana Islands. MSU Northern maintains articulation agreements with 25 colleges and universities, including many tribal colleges, out-of-state colleges, and Canadian colleges.
