Overview
Lawson State Community College is a public, historically black institution established in the state of Alabama. The Birmingham campus, located approximately nine miles from the neighboring Bessemer campus, is split between an East and West campus and features the Living and Learning Center and the One Stop Career Center. Students attending LSCC can enroll in a variety of career technical academic programs, as well as programs tailored for college transfer.
