As a freshman in college there is one each freshman must know and that is staying focus. This school offers many majors, but it focuses on culinary arts mainly. The professor are very professional and about business. They teach each student how to gain knowledge from their course. The teachers also interact with you and they know you personally.
Do you enjoy the experience at your school?
I enjoy being at JWU, but I hate that nobody knows the business side to JWU. The students here are friendly you grow accustomed to many different cultures. Just living on campus is nice and the dorms are well maintained unlike other colleges.
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
I don't believe I'm getting my money worth but that's because I'm not a culinary arts student. I am a fashion major, and not to many people know the fashion in Charlotte. Each year the tuition goes up and personally I'm not getting my money's worth.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
If you plan to attend JWU check their major catalog and see if it has what your majoring in. This school does focus on culinary arts mainly so if that's not your major I don't advise you to attend here. Do your research on this school before applying you want your parents & your self to get the best for the money.
