Describe your college in three sentences.

Georgetown College is a little school with a big personality. Everyone wants to help you and get to know you. You also get a great deal of belonging here.

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

Tips for prospective students are to visit the campus, go to a Georgetown event, and go on the Directions Trips that are available. First, a student should visit the campus to meet the people and also go to what we call Tiger Days to get maybe some classroom experience as well. Lastly, when you are excepted, go on a Direction trip because they are a few days to meet other freshman and make really go bonds before college starts.

Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?

The classes at Georgetown can be really difficult, but your professors are there to help if you ask them. Class sizes are small so you can get one on one instruction if needed and there is also free tutoring to students. Try your hardest and take a lot of notes, you will learn to fly.

Describe the dorm life at your college.

The dorms here are great, but to some the rooms are small. The RA will become friends to you if you try, and you can meet a lot people from other dorms. One big plus to them FREE LAUNDRY!!!!

Describe the food and dining at your college.

The food at Georgetown College is pretty good. You have a lot of choices and even can swap them at the Grille or the Mulberry. The Grille has salads, sandwiches, and burgers, while the Mulberry is more coffee and breakfast.

What’s there to do for fun at your college?

Some fun things to do here are intramurals, sport games, concerts, Songfest (Homecoming event), finals events, Freshman Family Groups, and campus worship nights.

Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?

While at times it seems expensive, the experience is totally worth it.

How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?

Campus Safety is 24/7 here and all you have to do is call.
