REVIEWS
Read What Students Are SayingGardner-Webb is a generally small university; the class sizes at GWU provides an excellent environment for learning, asking questions, and getting involved. It's a good thing that at GWU your professor can know you. At GWU your not just a number, your a student!
Zaneta from Charlotte, NC
I haven't started here yet, but on my tour I got to meet professors and I know I will learn a lot. They cared enough to stop and talk to you about potential majors, your intrests, and many I talked to exchanged email addresses with me, so we could keep in touch about classes I was intrested in taking.
Courtney
Gardner-Webb University allows you to not just be part of the university as a student but to work along side the staff, professors and help the community in projects and activities. The classes are small which allows for a more personal interaction with classmates and professors. Professors and staff care about the students success and make you feel important not just a number in the class.
JB
Gardner-Webb is a great school. The professors are extremely helpful and are willing to meet with you at any time. One of my professors even had his class over for dinner! The professors here build relationships with their students and always seem to help their students whether its with school, personal problems, or anything you can think of.
Philip from Plymouth, MA
I am currently enrolled in the GOAL program here at GWU. I am enrolled in 5 classes. I am taking 4 of my classes online and 1 of my classes I have actually on the Boiling Springs campus at night. Some individuals say that you can never learn when taking online classes, but that is a very untrue statement. Yes, you have to put all your time into studying; however, I am learning so many new things this semester. Also, with my class that I am taking in class, Quantitative Methods of Business, I have never done this work before, but I am really learning a lot in this class and getting the hang of the information.
Natalie from Shelby, NC
The professors are wonderful and are willing to help in any part of the day. The university is small enough so that the professors can get to know you as a person, and not just a number.
Casey from Kings Mountain, NC
I just finished my first year at Gardner-Webb and I've learned so much already just in my core classes. One advantage of Gardner-Webb being a private school is that the classes are smaller so you are able to get to know the professors on a personal basis and if you have question they are more than willing to answer it. Gardner-Webb offers tutoring and other services to help insure that you not only learn the material, but you can also understand and apply it to your life.
Karis from Monroe, NC
I am currently enrolled in the Education Program at Gardner-Webb University. The environment is friendly and you will get a lot of one on one attention. The only disadvantage is the lack of time spent in outside schools.

Gardner-Webb is absolutely AMAZING!!! They have a clean, fun campus that is Christian oriented. This is one college you won't regret looking into!
Destiny from Monroe, NC
Gardner-Webb is a great university with a close and caring community, both on campus and off campus. Though it is located in a small town there are activities to participate in every weekend and throughought the week. This is a wonderful school which helps students financially and where you actually get your money's worth!
